After yesterday’s decision by the Courts to place the Halifax Panthers into administration, Cashfax Lottery would like to make the following statement.
The CashFax Lottery has supported Halifax Panthers over many years and raises 10’s of thousands of pounds for the Club each year. By law, any Club that has a lottery must run it independently from the Club and therefore have separate bank accounts and it’s own constitution. This means that every penny it makes, can’t be touched and is held safely and securely for the benefit of professional rugby league in Halifax.
We appreciate all our members who have stood by the Club through some very tough times. Through your contributions, you have made it easier for us to fund the Club through periods such as Covid, but we have always found a way forward and I would urge all our members to stick with us again, as we need your support now more than ever.
With your help, Cashfax will as always, continue to support the Club, it’s players, staff and supporters and work tirelessly towards continuing professional rugby league in Calderdale.
